Back of Beyond Here in Northeast Texas (not far from Commerce, Greenville, Wolfe City, and Bonham), bringing you quality Boer goats raised with individual love and attention as well as handmade goat's milk soaps. Who we are The Back of Beyond came about several years ago as a way to indulge myself...with GOATS! As anyone with goats knows, their antics are addicting, endearing, frustrating, and always entertaining. And...you can never have just one. Soon, the indulgence became a herd. A herd of a variety of breeds since who can limit themselves? However, after finding the perfect Boer buck, I settled on Boers, sort of. I couldn't part with my Kinders, so this past Spring, I started milking. Kinders are a combination breed, dairy and milk. My three girls cross well with Boer men as well! And the milk? The milk is SO GOOD! My most patient Ardwinna produced more milk than I could drink, so I began to make soap. I do sell my soaps. 2010 added three more dairy goats to the herd and to my milk production. That means, MORE SOAP! Please, visit my buck and does pages. See my wonderful herd of indulgences.
